The emergency room facility also participates in the Regional II Trauma Network, assessing and stabilizing patients before arranging for transfer to a Level I Trauma Center by helicopter if necessary, from the hospital’s helipad. The trained staff of experienced physicians, nurses, and physician’s assistants offer care to all ages, from neonatal to geriatric patients.

Fulton County Health Department offers a variety of medical services, many at a reduced cost. These services include bloodwork (such as cholesterol, PSA, glucose, etc.), blood lead screening, TB screening and testing, STD testing and treatment, family planning including pregnancy testing and birth control, Pap tests, vouchers for mammograms and cervical exams, and more. Additionally, the WIC program offers supplemental food and formula to pregnant women, infants, and children under the age of five plus nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to other services.
